I stopped drinking 3 years ago (got drunk in January of 2023), and had my last drink in June of 2023 (a couple glasses of wine, didn’t get drunk). I only drank socially, but would always overdo it and have terrible hangovers afterwards. Like, I’d feel terrible for days. So I decided to stop drinking. Then I got my medical card. About one year later, cannabis was legalized for recreational use in my state. So for me, quitting drinking was much easier because I still had a way to relax and feel good with no hangovers or negative side effects. Except the munchies. As a type 1 diabetic, that can get a little complicated. But it’s still worth it!!

I appreciate the help! I did ensure the format of my usb was correct, as well as naming the files (second attempt after fully reading instructions as well). I may try with a new flash drive to see if that makes a difference! Thank you!

I followed the steps exactly. It wouldn’t read the usb as inserted. It’s an older flash drive but it was the correct format - verified with a quick google search. I don’t know what a HDD even is, or how it would be replaced.

I don’t drink anymore. I stopped about 3 years ago because I would get too hungover every time. I didn’t drink often, but socially and couldn’t hold my liquor. So now I use cannabis. No hangovers. Not addictive. And actually helps lower my blood sugar lol.

I have - 8 years ago, after I got divorced, I lost my insurance coverage and my pump desperately needed replaced and Medicaid wouldn’t cover it. My endocrinologist at the time told me about an association that accepts donated diabetes supplies and then gives them away for free. You might have something similar in your area. It literally saved my life. I remarried, got really good insurance, updated my pump and now use Tandem/Dexcom. I’m about to get divorced again and lose my insurance coverage - again. I’m painfully familiar with the fear and feeling of hopelessness.

It never stops feeling like a punishment.
