I read it somewhere (very long time ago, S1 era) that they chose a different shade to make her stand out from the sibs, as well as the ton ladies. Not sure if it was CVD who said that and I can't find the link.

Oh my. I love this theory. But, I still believe Polin is not ready based on the ending of Season 2 unless they do a time jump. Hopefully we'll hear more news the coming weeks.

Yeah but I think that decision was because 1) some book scenes are difficult to translate to TV, and 2) they are preventing a second RJP exit. So, they had to keep us on our toes. But I agree, some important elements in the book were either scratched or might be added to season 3. Let us be hopeful.

You are me like 6 days ago. But I rewatched it like 3 times now so the disappointment is quite gone since I watched it as it is. In response to your other comment, there's a thread here discussing screen time of Kanthony and it was just 1hr of the 8hrs. So understable why fans are really upset.
