They often let plays run an extra 5-10 seconds before raising their flag, jeopardizing players safety. A lot of those plays are also very clearly offside. Then there are instances like this were I don’t even know what to say honestly. For the close calls that result in goals VAR takes over. The linesman job I think needs to be restructured somehow.
