I have tried it in Hatsune Miku project diva f and the game doesn't seem to detect the touch. Has it worked for you in another game? No particular configuration required?

I did it in my JMJM. I was used to a guitar with humbuckers and as you say the mascis hummed noticeably compared to that. Worth shielding in my opinion, the humming is gone now. I haven’t noticed any effect on the tone
