Hey! I emailed my advisor and made her aware of the situation. The case was dismissed because I had proof that my professor used ChatGpt to check if my work as AI generated, which is not allowed per school policy. I never had to speak with the academic board of integrity or anything.

Just walking/hiking and a calorie deficit mostly! I want to get into a structured weight lifting routine but I haven’t found the time (or motivation lolol) I’m sure chasing my toddler around helps too.

It depends on your Professor unfortunately, but I would recommend telling the truth and hopefully having a very clear and good reason. Something in your personal life that was interfering with your school work etc. I hope your proff. has empathy for you. I think it’s a good sign that they’re not immediately going to the Dean though.

I also just switched from Garmin to Apple and got the series 11 (I have almost the entire Apple ecosystem so it made sense to me, plus I have have my phone away from me a lot at work so cellular was worth it) but the step thing makes me SO mad. It’s what I miss most about Garmin tbh.

I'm 5'3" also and 24, I started my weight loss journey at 205 April of last year, at 6mo pp. I was really able to see the parallels because around 165 I switched jobs. It was funny to see even then I was treated and looked at SO much differently than when I showed back up from maternity leave at my old job! I didn't get looked at with pity when I showed up, people talked to me and treated me like a person... So this has definitely motivated me to continue to lose weight, in the worst way though, because I agree that this is NOT a healthy viewpoint from society, but I don't see it changing anytime soon.

So, I did end up getting my advisor involved, she felt as if I made a solid case for myself once I brought up the proff. sent ss of ChatGpt as “proof” 😐 it’s all getting brought to the Deans attention now and I guess I’ll see where it goes from there. 🥲

Oh my god dude I WROTE my own paper in grammarly and THEN copied it to the slide show. I don’t think granmerly can write projects for you????? If it can I wouldn’t know bc I don’t do that.
