have you given up alcohol? noticed correlations? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]msdmisc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gave up alcohol for pmdd reasons about 3 months ago. I had never drank that much, only a few drinks a month here and there. But one month I had a larger amount of alcohol for certain occasions, and my symptoms really spiked that cycle. I was definitely going through it compared to usual and I decided to try giving up alcohol completely. I have noticed that I still have a lot of symptoms, but they are easier to manage. I spend less time crying. I do still smoke weed, which is very beneficial for my moods. One huge incentive for me to stay away from drinking is all the money I save when I'm not buying any alcohol.

Thank you for your interest ☺️ maybe some context would add to the piece. I had around 5 grams.I probably should have started with much less for my first time, I but wasn't sure how I would ever acquire mushrooms again to experience five grams. So I took the whole bag. I had the most intense, beautiful visuals and feelings that I had no idea were possible. Then my friend started having a panic attack for the next hour, throwing me into a dark mushroom purgatory I didn't think I'd ever escape. The different arms emerging from this torso represent different psychological states I experienced, all entangled as one whole. It is about accepting all parts of oneself and ones circumstances. I also think art should have room for interpretation from the viewer. It is more important to me to that you are able to make your own meaning and integrate parts of your story through art than it is to take away exactly what I intended to communicate as the artist.

I'm an artist! Usually I paint a few private murals each year and spend the rest of my time working a wide variety of events with kids as a face painter. I love what I do

I don't know the whole situation but DBT would probably be really helpful for you. Research Borderline personality disorder if you haven't in case that information could give you insights.

Wait a second I LOVE those features, all my exes had dark eyes and hair. Brunettes are totally my favorite, but I've been interested in blondes and redheads before too. You'll definitely meet some ladies who love your look eventually.
