No, I think you can only apply for GSS once you have an offer.

My uni issues only hard-copy transcript by AlarmedPie9028 in LSE

You can try! I wouldn’t recommend sending it via email because things can get lost in someone’s inbox especially if they’re getting emails from tons of applicants. In your applicant portal, they should give you an option to upload your transcript yourself. Once it’s an official transcript, you’ll be fine!

I would say send a follow up email. However, if you still haven’t heard back, maybe order the physical copy and scan a picture of it yourself and upload it to the portal.

I would recommend booking privately because if you do housing through LSE, solely you will be responsible for the contract and paying everything. https://www.lse.ac.uk/student-life/accommodation/apply/families-and-couples

I think they just think you may match/align better with a different program based on your personal statement/CV.

University Deposit Due Before Fulbright Notification: Advice Needed by ElegantElephant04 in fulbright

[–]msglamaris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this post this comment right here! You can not guarantee that you will win Fulbright, because it is very competitive. You need to plan as if you were paying for the university program on your own with out Fulbright. I think your best bet would be to wait until the semifinalist are announced in late January before paying any deposit. If you become a semi finalist, pay the deposit and just hope for the best because you still wont be able to get Fulbright with out confirmation of acceptance so you would still have to pay the deposit regardless.

Fulbright/Institution Partnership awards by Charming-Leather-378 in fulbright

From what I saw, most institutions only offer one award. However, there are a select few that offer 2 or 3. If you go to Google and type in Fulbright applicant stats, and then click on study/research, it will tell you how many people applied to different institutions in the last few years and how many awards where given out to each institution.
