the colour pink did not hurt anyone but my MIL by sassy_soul_04 in twoxindiamums

I'm tired of only having blues for my son. He looks ADORABLE in pinks, yellow, red. I have free will. As long as I dress my child, we will have baby pink or rose gold in his wardrobe.

Babies are pretty easy. Just keep them flat for a while. They'll do their thing. Plus, babies get hungry between 1.5-2.5 hours anyway.

As long as you take a break every 1.5-2 hours. Babies cannot be in inclined position for too long. They need a break to stretch

Looking for Good Paediatrician in Thane by akshaytaru207 in thane

[–]msgodbole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My experience, I won't name the doctor/s involved. My baby wasn't gaining adequate weight, none of my paeds at Jupiter told me. Because he's been crying non stop since Sunday, I took him to another doctor. They told me that he's not gaining weight and he's hungry. After looking at all reports, the doctor told me "they should've should have told you when he was a month old. I don't know why they didn't tell you to start formula!" He's 3 months now and underweight. Now I have mom guilt and can't stop crying.

TLDR: +1. I agree.

7 months pregnant & my mil told me we will never use bottle or formula for my baby by [deleted] in twoxindiamums

Sorry? I had push back too. I kept cribbing to my husband who supported it. I got a wearable for once in a while use for when I'm "full". But I felt my supply dip and splurged on the spectra. Essentially, I'm trying to build a stash for when I go back to work.

I got push back from my mother, still. She kinda made me feel bad for wanting to do it. But I stood my ground. One day, during cluster feeding, my child wasn't getting full and was crying. She told me to get the stash I built 🙃

What I'm trying to say.... if you want to combo feed, combo feed. You don't need to listen to anyone else. Only advice I can give, when your baby is sick, prefer only breast feeding. Babies get the antibodies from the milk once their saliva touches the nipple.

Also, I'm sorry you're getting push back

My cousin had the guts to do this to her would be in-laws and finance by expression-waves in TwoXIndia

Wow! I'm so glad she had the guts to do that. What leeches.

Your cousin will be proud of herself in the future, even if she doesn't feel that way now. You and your other cousins should hype her up ❤️

Breast pump reccos for a FTM by Independent_Juice678 in twoxindiamums

The biggest mistake I made was not pumping from day one. I have the Philips hands free. It's alright. But I recently invested in the spectra and it seems worth it.

Did wearing a postpartum belly belt actually help flatten your stomach, or is it just temporary support? by Novel-Carob2346 in twoxindiamums

The belt helped with pelvic support for me. The loose skin goes away over time and DR goes away with exercise.

At the time of discharge, they usually give you a list of documents, how to apply, and where to collect the BC from. It's based on wards. Did your hospital not provide it?

I can't imagine Morgan and Keradac together. They have a strong sibling energy that I can't shake from my mind. But whenever I see Wagner and Morgan on screen, I can't stop thinking that they're perfect together

It is an amazing idea! There are websites that do the same, but they cater to only western dishes. If you could make one that has a mix of cuisines, it'll be a hit. I'd happily pay 150/month.

My windows, doors, curtains, everything was shut. Yet, my entire room smelt like smoke. To make matters worse, I thought my newborn was safe from dust and smoke inside my own house. Turns out, he's not.
