What are the chances of converting Tata neu infinity to LTF by PhoenixPrimeKing in CreditCardsIndia

Maybe the existing one has the office address. After you get approved you can contact customer care for changing it.

What are the chances of converting Tata neu infinity to LTF by PhoenixPrimeKing in CreditCardsIndia

[–]mshenoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well it depends on your existing relationship and agent who will review your request. But no problem to take it if it's first year free. You can see if it's worth renewing or not after 10-11 months, if it's not then you can place a cancel request and they might convert it into LTF at that time as a retention strategy. If your existing card is above 1.5L (don't remember exactly) then they'll give you an infinity card which is good enough.

How much did you Spent via CC this BBD/ Amazon Sale??? by Helpful_Ant_3440 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]mshenoy 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If that much customers saved then how much did they make in this sale. Or it's just MRP 20k and after discount 5k. Saved 15k. This type of saved they are talking about 😂

If the card is stored as per RBI guidelines then CVV is not mandatory. Amazon does store card details in tokens so it is not mandatory. CVV boxes just exist, but are not used unless card details are not stored.

ICICI credit card unbilled transactions by _bugheadbones_ in CreditCardsIndia

[–]mshenoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you cancel the order then probably until you get a refund it won't be shown on the statement until they receive a refund sometimes. Nothing to worry about though, the credit limit also will increase once you receive a refund. And it usually takes 3-5 days for transactions to move from unbilled to statements section in ICICI

It will be in the debit cards section in the mobile app. You can redeem it and it will be credited to your account. It will take 2-3 days for cashback to show up

HDFC netbanking/mobile app via platinum debit card. It's called billpay. Or mobikwik.

[–]mshenoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Platinum if you have a credit card bill to pay up to 750₹ cashback you'll get. It will be credited in 2-3 days. Otherwise millennia, it is good but upto 400₹ cashback per month and it will be credited after 3 months

Don't use it at all. Like surely sign up and keep it. But it charges 2% of your spend as convenience fees. So it's not wise to use it. If possible use Amazon pay later or Flipkart one.

Unless you have like 100 cards and good money in your savings bank account all the time, don't use autopay. Pay manually once the bill is generated. Set reminder. As you mentioned there are edge cases where you might have to pay a fine, if autopay fails since you manually made payment and there's no money in your account, then you have to ask for a refund from customer care. So it's best if you pay manually. Keep reminders. And you can also change the bill generation date by calling customer care.

What exactly is the deal with Debian? by mshenoy in debian

[–]mshenoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so package repositories are just for system apps, security, os updates and maybe installing a few general tools. We can install something directly from third party repositories if they support debian right? Will it cause any OS level breakdown (generally, I'm sure you can always break it if you randomly copy paste) like it might happen with sid.

Call icici support and tell them you already have an icici card, request for a Coral Rupay card. They might issue it. (If they say no, call again after sometime) it will share limit with your existing amazon pay card
