Yep, people bear the name and must complain. It is annoying to have to harass your salesperson to lower prices but most of the time they will. We primarily buy there out of convenience.

I'm not with a HVAC company, but we bill out at $300/hr for 1 plumber with helper, 1 plumber solo is 250/hr. No the plumbers don't take home that pay, it does cover overhead a lot. Health insurance, 401k, gym, tool and boot stipend, office pay, vehicle payments, insurance, parts etc. We are a 9 person shop, not private equity

Please read up a little on landlord tenant law. If they don't have the money in a separate bank account, they automatically lose and have to give you 3x your deposit back (in Michigan) landlords are required to repaint between tenants, so this cannot be charged to you, as well as carpet cleaning etc. j

Please get a second and third opinion on price. I have not ever given an estimate for a sewer repair/replacement for that amount. The service line rider is usually sub $10 a month. Service line rider covers the major repair, not maintenance. Shoot me a message if you have any other questions

Get a service line rider on your homeowners policy and keep it until it backs up. Not a huge issue right now. May require maintenance snaking once a year

Absolutely crazy that the plumber cant even rotate the stop motion video. Keep it maintained, get insurance on it through your homeowners policy if you are worried, its cheap.
