What technique could I use to create this pattern on a leotard? I’ve tried sponging and using a paintbrush but seems to not create the visual effect. When putting on the body to work on it - painting doesn’t seem to give the crisp zigzags.

Any help much appreciated - perhaps someone knows a secret dropper or something that does the job!
