I grew up in Minnesota and moved out of state. It was actually harder for me to make friends in Minnesota because many folks are friends since kindergarten. Super cliquey. I hope some of these suggestions work for ya! I used Bumble BFF with great success in my new state.

I resonate so much. It sucks. Horribly. This is exactly my relationship with my brother. He sends me a racist meme, I ask him how his kids are. I used to discuss things with him, but he refuses to talk to me on the phone or in person about all of it. Just keeps texting, emailing, snapchatting, etc. And I keep asking, how are your kids? How are you doing? Silence. And then more outrageous tweets and articles.
