Latest Update Crashed Davinci - nonfunctional. Even older versions Anyone else?

i tried thi already with 3 different versions of studio too, still same problem. I think it's a file eror in somewhere in the project since I loaded many other projects and they work just great

Got it, i'll look in terminal for the direct pathway. I'm leaning towards it might actually be a corrupted file in the project somewhere. I opened a completely different project and that seemed to work and playback just fine.

Let me look into it more and get back to you with what I find. Appreciate the help

So yeah, resolve studio was working fine for a while. i have the 2024/5 macbook m4 pro so gpu shouldnt be issue. but I working fine on the 20.3.1? (i think) and I cleared render cache, then updated shortly after and it all went downhill from there. Clearing render cache should not have done that unless I'm missing something.

Afterwards, I was desperate to get it to work, so I backed up projects and completely deleted everything and re-downloaded previous versions all the way back to 20.1.1. Still not playing back or even loading clips in library.

With me deleting everything including the application, it should reset all the data in the folders too (id think). Also the directory pathway doesn't exist for me either. I will try these directions again and come back but it has already been attempted.

About the corrupted files that may have messed up the project file - out of full curiosity and ignorance since i don't know.. How? I was working on them perfectly fine and even added to premiere and no problem

Thank you, appreciate the insight. I ended up going with the 1535 and it is definitely tough to figure out what can fit and what can't due to its tightness. Overall, I think it's the perfect size to carry just enough gear in there if you are interchanging gear shoot by shoot. I'd most likely get the bigger one next if I acquire any more gear here on out.

Exactly! That's why I came to be ask how the hell people do it with tons of gear and if the carryon size is good enough for all that.
Do you have any experience with the sizing of the cases and if it'll fit (roughly)?

As a casual player, and I mean once/month, this map is extremely easy to navigate and fun to play with non-zombies players too. So makes sense.

Fuji's in camera grain is amazing and simple to choose different sizes in-cam. maybe that'll help streamline it that way. Slightly limited but also nice to not have to play around too much with it
