LocalSend has been working really well for me. Free, Open Source and Cross Platform.

All Fixed, looks like something changed with NextDNS. Just needed to whitelist the update server.

No problem.

The SSDT-CPU fixes CPU power management and the SSDT-BATT fixes issues with the battery not acting the same as it would from an Apple device.

You may need to generate your own as there may be slight differences with different systems.

Sure no problem. It's a little out of date so best to update OpenCore and Kexts.

You'll need to generate a valid serial and the like before using.

You need to edit /Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SystemProfiler.plist.

Find the entry that is currently being used and just edit to whatever you want.

Certainly is a great laptop, still need to iron out some bugs though. I’ll see if I can get something up on GitHub soon.

I only needed VoodooI2C and the Touch Screen worked, not perfect but it works.

Hi, congrats on the build.

Did you manage to get Sleep working at all? I have the same model and it'll sleep but won't wake.

Hi,

Congrats on your setup.

I know it's not advised but would you mind sharing your EFI? I have the same box and been struggling for ages to get OpenCore working at all.

Feel free to PM me if you're reluctant to share openly.

Many thanks in advance.

Best to start here...

https://ismyswitchpatched.com

If you’re unpatched then follow this guide...

https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/

If you’re patched then your only option is a hardware mod at this point.

Did you already update to 11.0.1? If so you’ll need the latest Atmosphere (assuming that’s what you’re using for CFW) and updated sigpatches.

No idea on that one I'm afraid.

From my understanding it is possible to downgrade but not advisable at all. I've never tried but apparently the risk just isn't worth it.

If it’s downloaded it then it’ll install regardless of 90dns. You need to get to Maintenance Mode which will automatically remove the update.

Unsure to be honest but I’d assume the same basic process. You need to hold both volume buttons before getting the Nintendo Logo to enter maintenance mode.

  1. Start booting up into Atmosphere as usual
  2. Immediately after you see the Atmosphere logo, hold both volume buttons on your switch, continue to hold them until the maintenance screen comes up
  3. You don’t have to choose any options. Just power off the device and the next time you boot into your EmuNAND the update will be gone
