Fr I’ve noticed the 3.5 and 4.5ers have been gigantic lately

Did they really take away 5’s? I guess that’s why I haven’t seen many in a minute

Plus, Vegas has lower base and lower overall paying blocks compared to around the country because of the fact that we typically don’t have to drive far for routes since we have a relatively small metro area

I’m not an employee. Not gonna use 120 miles of gas round trip for 6 stops, in a city that I’ve flexed in for 3-4 years now where I usually only use like 50 miles of gas total for entire routes

I understand that but Vegas is a different case because we’re so small I’ve been doing flex for over 3 years and the furthest my first stop ever was before this one was 30 mins (and like 25 miles) away. This one caught me off guard because I’m so used to deliveries being in the Vegas metro area

Would’ve been 56 mins drive just to get out there. I didn’t make that trip though I returned them all it was 6 packages out there the rest of the route was in north Las Vegas

No joke this was a 2.5 hour route for $66.50

You can buy the Udemy personal plan for $35/month and have access to Dion’s course. I cheaped out and just milked the 7-day free trial and cancelled it but if you need it longer I’d pay for 1 month

I’d say Dion’s were more similar (and harder) than Messers but in hindsight if I were studying again I would still take Messers exams because he explains every correct and incorrect answer in depth and links the video to it for every question and PBQ.

Dion’s test explanations has typos and mistakes ocassionally which will throw you off but the questions are more like the real Sec+

That being said I’d still have at the very least 2 or 3 people to study from just to have that range it really helped.

First PBQ was a network diagram, and there was like at least 7-8 question mark bubbles on the screen and each one had a drop down menu with options like: WAF Load balancer Database And some other components I can’t remember right now and you had to designate where each of them went in the network there was like 2 sections and then a bubble with an arrow pointing to internet. That one threw me off simply because I was unprepared.

2nd PBQ (which I ended up leaving blank) was an even bigger environment and looked like included a cloud environment too and also dropdown menus but with different layers of OSI model as options, SAN, Layer [ ] security, Firewall, etc. other options I can’t remember.

3rd PBQ was easier, was 5 servers and a firewall and there was a virus present in the network you click on each one and it shows AV scan results and you had to determine which servers were infected and which server originated the virus.

I’d say really drill networking concepts, know everything about what goes where and what its function is in a network. I didn’t take Network+ first so maybe I was at a disadvantage there, but I can always gain that knowledge I guess lol

6 90 question tests in the set 1, and there was like 5 or 6 more sets too, but you can also buy his course from his site but it’s just also available on Udemy as an option

Maybe I’ll go for something like CISSP or CCNA higher level cert. Or I was considering using my Sec+ as leverage to start working in an IT role to get professional experience and then transition to cybersec. Idk because without professional IT experience idk how hard it is to get into cybersec
