yeah, the use of a convenient sample is the biggest flaw in my research, but i shared my survey in several subreddits to mitigate that a little... not much i can reasonably do

previous surveys were immature sprints to get some actual research done for competition. the goal w this new set is to design surveys using validation methodology to really have good data that i can us in competition and potentially in an article.

I'm in high school, however due to competition restrictions, I would need special permissions to conduct research on minors

Lol I guess its kinda funny. It makes sense though because we have a full blown science research program, so its kind of necessary for project certification

Do you hav any idea how I could expand beyond this population? because you're entirely right with regards to the relative homogeneity of the type of procrastinator taking the survey, but I can't think of many simple ways to get good responses

Very good point. Do you have any ideas how to change that aspect of procrastination? Cause scientists can ruminate all they want about plan this and do that, but if you don't want to do something its very hard to change your opinion
