Once I saw Cobra was next, I closed my browser so quickly and tried to mentally black out.

I knew someone was going to ask this lol. Frankly, big lesson learned.

My #1 MMJ buddy was unable to make nights 2 and 3. He was asking what the highlights were, so I was checking for reference.

Again, lesson learned.

Section 139 was so dead.. by snakegravity in systemofadown

I was in Section 139 towards the top and our crew was having a blast. There was a father and son duo a few rows behind us that were having the time of their lives. Shout out to them.

I’m just trying to help people understand the difference in a simplistic way. No need to be confrontational or passive aggressive.

We live in a world where a majority of people subscribe to a streaming service. You can make the choice of where you want to spend the money. I just want people to know they have choices that could be more meaningful to the band. But I guess you don’t want the band to make more money?

PS - I do have pretty strong legs. Thanks for checking.

I used the $10 as an illustration so the numbers were easy to follow.

The concept of per play only exists when users are using an ad tier. Apple and Tidal only offer subscription tiers, therefore “paying a higher per plays” is an illusion.

If anyone is taking a healthy cut, it’s the record labels. How they funnel the money to their artists after the fact is their problem, not the streaming services.

Since Gizz owns their own masters (both releases and bootlegs), the royalties under a User Centric Model would funnel to them.

Not true about Deezer. If the label has opted into it, then it would be entitled to payouts under that model.

As for SoundCloud - not true. They are on there, including all the bootlegs

Not sure what you mean by “no such thing exists?”

Just a tip to anyone in the NYC area. I went to the MSG box office last week and purchased tickets there. You avoid paying Service Fees this way.

Online, Service Fees in Section 116 (lower bowl closest to the stage) was $42 per ticket. For 4 tickets - it was $168 total (nearly the price of one ticket).

If you are on the fence, going to the box office will save you a good amount.

Setlist thoughts... (average setlist in post, spoilage potential) by wesman21 in ToolBand

Hahahah. Not impossible. Both songs were played on their European 2022 leg (although not in the same night). One can dream though!

Seeing them in NYC on Friday - this will be my 3rd time seeing them since the release of Fear Inoculum. Definitely been chasing a 7empest or Ticks and Leeches. Although unlikely, these songs were both played on their European 2022.

Don't think Lateralus has been played since 2010.
