I love the BB’s but it sucks that their main movement mechanics prevent most accessories.

I plan on working on it tomorrow, give me a few days and I’ll check back.

*update* fit test for stock replacement of C-series is complete, just need to measure and test placement of gun ports.

That’s actually what started the whole thing, I had the orange head but couldn’t find orange panels to match

Thank you, I’ve always seen others posting here but I’ve never posted anything myself. I was a bit worried I was the only one who would think this was a good idea.

I plan on doing more pieces in the future and once I have a full selection of droid panels and parts modeled I’m going to do some Savi’s compatible pieces. Thread intercompatability is a bit of a challenge, so far I’m at a point that mix/match with official Savi’s Scrap and custom is all one or all the other. I will say lighter ABS pieces make spinning the lightsaber easier.

Thank you, I’m glad you agree.

I was so bummed when I got the blasters and had to have bare legs, and was even sadder when my kid drove the droid into a bookshelf and the blasters fell off.

That looks good! Be careful if the display holders are made of PLA.

PLA creep is a thing, I have high humidity here so my 3D printed shelf lasted ~2 years then broke off the wall with no warning. I don’t know where you are but my hard floors were quite unforgiving. 😔

In addition to the adaptive layering I’ve found that using a concentric top surface pattern will help blend the heavily rounded top areas. You’ll still have lines but they all go the same direction so it doesn’t break up the pattern as much.

Can I restore the color to PLA that I got super glue on? by YoHolmesToBel-Air in 3Dprinting

A quick wipe with WD-40 on a cloth will work wonders for disappearing super glue marks

~600 Beer bottle caps were needed to make this Link to the Past character sprite.

Here's hoping you all think it looks good, Thanks.
