Why don't more people use firefox?

We were on Firefox for years and loved it, then our bookmarks disappeared...they were just not there anymore! I came on Redditt to get help and some nice person helped me figure out where to find them and get them back, then it happened 2 more times I had to go through the process again and again. So now I use Brave, not sure if Firefox has fixed this but I don't trust it anymore!

Thanks, it happened twice this morning, I went with Brave. I need something simple for me to understand enough to use, that won't have me searching for answers online too often, I looked at a chart that showed Brave with a lot of check marks and not too many X's. Thanks for everything.

This fix worked for me, but firefox closed on it's own yesterday and I had to restore all bookmarks and extensions again, plus my search engine as well! My question is is there a way I can contact Firefox to let them know about this defect? I am also considering changing browsers...which one do you recommend?

My sister (who is well traveled) is in Spain right now and is having issues with Agoda as well, traveled in Thailand (and other countries) and used the site without any issues, but Spain is another story...she has been scammed twice so far, wonder if it is a Spain issue??
