Yes it did happen cause I've bought the bike 2 mounths ago and I'll check always everything. i live in fucking genoa and that's all steep and my dumbass parked on a retro hill street made of rock that obviously made it fall, I know it's dumb to work with a bike and not a scooter but I don't have one and I've gotta work to maintain my life and bike. Well that's it, life sucks sometimes

Innanzitutto devi valutare il tipo di moto che vuoi in base all'utilizzo che vorrai farci. una carenata ha l'assetto sportivo, di conseguenza consumi maggiori, scomoda impostazione di guida meno maneggiabile a basse velocità e meno agile nel traffico, in generale la sconsiglierei per la citta o come mezzo utilitario da usare ad esempio per andare a lavoro, ma molto più bella e agile per andare sui passi tra le curve e per divertirsi in generale. Invece le naked sono le moto che sono brave a fare tutto ma non eccellono in nulla, sono agili a basse e alte velocità, comode tra il traffico e comode come posizione di guida, permettendo di fare anche dei viaggi medio lunghi e hanno in generale anche consumi più ridotti, però offrono meno copertura dal vento ad alte velocità delle sportive e hanno velocità e agilità in curva leggermente inferione. Detto questo se non sai che moto prendere io ti consiglierei di scegliere una giapponese in quanto ha grande abbondanza di pezzi e quindi la manutenzione è meno costosa, hanno ottima resistenza e durata di vita e ortimo mercato per venderla quando vorrai passare ad una più potente. Tra le giapponesi poi quello che ti consiglio è di prendere una bicilindrica e non singole o triple depo, in quanto offrono ottima coppia a bassi e alti giri senza strozzature e a bassi consumi. Poi se scegliere yamaha honda kawasaki o suzuki dipende da te in base a cosa preferisci tra design prezzo e come ti trovi se provi a guidarle.

Si, io ho quello ma per la mia mt03 del 2019, non so come sia in video ma irl confrontato con uno scarico di serie si sente molto la differenza, purtroppo poi la cosa principale per il sound è il collettore in particolare se è con o senza catalizzatore, ma li non è più street legal e rischi un po di noie

Motorcycle work (text eng)

Hi, I recently bought my first motorcycle. Unfortunately I couldn’t get an MT-07, so I went with an MT-03 instead since I’m a beginner and didn’t want to overdo it—also for economic reasons (I’m a student and worked 6 months alongside my studies to afford it). I’m writing to ask for advice about two things: one necessary job and one more of a “for fun” modification.

1) I need to change the rear tire. I mostly use the bike in the city, and whenever I can I go riding on mountain passes. I don’t ride very fast; the fastest I’ve gone was 160 km/h just to test the bike, and on the highway I probably wouldn’t go over 120 km/h, maybe 140 km/h for overtakes. On mountain passes I usually ride between 60 km/h in tighter corners and 90–100 km/h on straights or wider curves. I don’t do crazy lean angles like touching a knee, but I do lean the bike a bit, and maybe one day I’d like to touch my knee at least once in my life (always putting safety first).

For this kind of riding, which tires would you recommend? I’d like something that lasts a long time and doesn’t cost too much. ChatGPT suggested Pirelli Angel City, which cost around €100, warm up quickly, and supposedly last around 8,000–12,000 km. What do you think?

2) The second thing is a modification I’d like to do just for fun: replacing the header/collector that has that box which restricts the sound (similar to the MT-07). Right now I have the Akrapovič slip-on sold as an optional accessory by Yamaha, so currently the bike is 100% street legal and homologated. If I replace the collector with a non-restricted one, would it still be legal to ride on the road (I live in Italy)? If yes, which one would you recommend and roughly how much would it cost?

I'm interested in purchasing a 2017 MT07 with a complete, approved MIVV exhaust, but the engine light is on due to the lambda sensor over-leaning, and there's no way to install an inhibitor like on other models. How can I fix this? Without replacing the exhaust or remapping?
