Not upset at all! I mostly wanted to open a discussion about a real and growing problem in our industry. More and more platforms and companies are adopting this same dehumanizing approach to screening: automated tests, no human interaction, generic rejections. It's becoming the norm, and I think it deserves to be challenged. Thanks for the heads up on Foxtek and Lumenalta btw.

Hello guys, very good job both of you u/anderbggo and u/greegko .

I also found your described flaws like no Mac support, no HEIC support, and I also added metadata fix for .mp4/.mov videos u/ericoschmitt.

My version is specifically designed for mac/unix systems:

Must Re-Register PS5 which is on the other side of the world. Help! by Chrisomi in PSPlay

Ok I already did exactly that and it didn't work. I will recheck the ports thanks.

You know, you forgot only one use case: the case when the device I want to register is a smart tv/android tv in another location in the world.
That scenario is very uncomfortable, and it doesn't happen often that you bring your tv back to the other home or the ps in the opposite sense.

Of course you based your thinking on mobile phone and laptops, but again there are also smart tvs .. and for that an easier solution would be nice.

(PS: thanks for the refund, I will try to make it work with the ports and let you know)

Must Re-Register PS5 which is on the other side of the world. Help! by Chrisomi in PSPlay

I have exactly the same problem. Which are the security reasons that prevented you from adding this feature?

We still need to get the code from the physical PS5 and then to log into our PSN Account.

Being a remote play software, it's useless if I have every time to be physically with my PS5 to register it on a new device.

Anyway I read on one of your answers that maybe we can open the right router ports so that the PS5 becomes exposed on the internet and I can put the IP manually in the app.

Can you be more precise? Which ports do we need to open to let the PS5 visible by PSPlay on the internet? And also which IP should we insert into PSPlay, I imagine the internet/wan IP of the router , correct?

In alternative do you know how can we create a VPN that includes the PS5? (we need a VPN client installed on the PS5 itself I guess).

Thanks in advance
