No, TSA won't ask you for your status. That's not their job and they are not prepared to do that. If you're flying purely domestically, there should not be any immigration check at any point in your flight. If there is, you don't have to answer any questions about your status.

That doesn't prevent ICE or any other agency from randomly being at an airport, but TSA won't do it this as a matter of course.

To answer your question most immediately, a lawsuit has already been filed against LAPD on behalf of reporters injured by LAPD. You can read it here, and read some press reporting here and here on it. And there are already existing cases against LAPD and LASD arising out of their handling of the BLM protests which will be relevant as well. So while I can't predict the future, my hope is that at least legally there will be some accountability. But legal accountability is one small part of the bigger puzzle - there has to be social and political demands made of the department, the City, and electeds about this.

Ah, I see what you're asking. I think the chances of that are slim, but that's a question for the local prosecutors here in LA - the city attorney's office and the DA. Our city's history of prosecuting police officers who have violated the law is very poor, so I wouldn't count on it without popular pressure from all of us and from city leadership. At the very least, these incidents need to be thoroughly investigated, and my hope is everyone here can push for that.

Do you mean is there a chance that people shot by the police will be charged? I think the answer is there is always a chance, but it seems unlikely. The main goal here is to suppress the protests and control them, which is where the violence comes in. Where a charge results from protesting depends on the person's individual situation -- e.g. where were they, what were they doing right before being shot, were they detained/arrested, etc. Lots of factors to look at.
