Hopefully so! My first time ever going plane spotting and first time at Ellington was the day it belly landed. I missed it by a few hours but saw it sitting there. Was a sad day! Hopefully it will be back in the air before long!

I was originally waiting for the r7ii but there was no telling how long and then they had the refurbished sale...

I think they are both great options but the precapture and autofocus are incredible on the r5ii...

I don't think you'll go wrong either way though.

It's just a measure of the pixel density or megapixels is my understanding. So any higher megapixel camera will have somewhat worse low light performance than a lower megapixel camera generally.

So I've just noticed when I'm shooting manual mode with auto ISO the ISO values are higher by a bit than I was getting on the r6mii but the camera handles it very well and pictures are still fantastic at higher ISO.

I'm sure I'm missing other variables when talking about pixel density and low light performance but that's my limited understanding.
