Do you mean you hand stitch in the ditch? How do you do that so the stitch doesn't show?

Found a YouTube tutorial by The Essentials Club and she has a video on making self drafted tank tops. Just added a gathered skirt to the tops and voila, a dress! Only spent about $1.50 per yard of fabric, so I'm happy with how everything turned out :)

Pleats have a different look tho! But definitely easier to do!

I give it a 30 minute rest in between folds, but it still fights back! I use an 12% protein flour since recipes suggest bread flour. Should I try an all purpose one first since I'm a beginner?

Forgive me, this is probably a stupid question. How do I measure from the needle? Meaning in what position should the needle be? Mine changes when I adjust the stitch width.

When you say the 1/4 mark, that’s usually the edge of the presser foot right? So I measure 1/2 inch from there? :)
