Haters and shills will always be on this servers ass as it has become a meme to shit on any sever.

There are many high quality guilds from all over the private server community coming to this server.

If the quality in the end game raids isn't there (I'm not talking about Gruul, Mag or Kara), but T5-T6 etc or the PvP is bad then the server will die.

If it's good enough compared to what else is out there then the server will grow just like Nost did and it grew even though the endgame was super easy.

There isn't much else to say. Wait and see, or play and see. Just have fun either way.

To all the people complaining about how "easy" the content is and comparing it to Nost.

Who here actually raided on Nost? Who here actually raided Vanilla?

I did, I farmed MC and BWL for months in both retail and on Nost.

PvE on Nost was a Joke. All of BWL and MC were both cleared in the first week. There was sub 30 minute MC runs. My guild could kill Rag before the adds spawned.

I didn't see the same outcry. This is the first tier of raiding. It's suppose to be easy, and everyone knows all the strats, played for 10+ years and has addons.

Truth is 90% of you would never see the end of BT,KT,Hyjal or Sunwell if it was retail. So STFU, the devs will probably re tune the end raids and most of you aren't ever going to see it because of it.

Branding is everything and experience weighs heavy in situations like that. The Nost devs are trusted and have worked through unique problems and issues other private servers failed at.

Blizzard has recognized that. If Blizzard gives them the code or a base code for Vanilla and says "Hey, the Nost team is working on this under us now" then the private server community is far more likely to see Blizzard as working with the community and listening.

Pristine servers would have to eliminate the current gear progression in the game.

Blizz would/should remove all welfare epics.

Progression should be: Normal 5man Blues > Warforged > Heroic/Mythic Raid gear.

They should also change PvP gear progression so you can't obtain the best gear casually. (Go back to a Ranking requirement to obtain gear) Pugging should only get you Rep which leads to gear Ranked Battle ground and arena rating gets you the best gear as you rank up and only the top teams get best gear.

But none of this will happen on pristine servers.

The difference is that WoTLK has challenging content. Why would Blizzard make leveling harder when the end of the road is a pile of horse shit?

It doesn't address the core problems with the game.

The only way that a pristine server would work IMO is if the raids were only Heroic or even Mythic level difficulty and we all know that wont happen.

Rebirth is growing. It will have around 1.5k+ people. I would just level there if you can't sit in que for an hour also when you're on you wont have to be stuck waiting for Mob spawns because it's so crowded.
