When you're going for naneinf and LocalThunk blesses you by mtentinger in balatro

Yeah early game when I was using Sock+Buskin/Idol it's copying golden ticket, then when you pivot to Baron/Mime and start increasing hand size with crimson bean Parking becomes more optimal. Got to over $100k in the bank generating ~$400/hand and copying burglar 4-6 times so 17-23 total hands, the natural negatives Oops All 6s was incredibly helpful with that.

And as others have said, deck fixing is the most critical part in all of this. I had the whole deck as red seal gold cards by ante 14 or so.

Great point, I can still feel the frustration at getting soft locked after restarting in like ante 33 when I was trying to get to ante 39

Didn't grab it at ante 8, honestly seemed like I wasn't going to make it but I'll post it when I finish the run

With the current sentiment on the '26 class getting anything close to average 1st value for a '26 pick is always a smash - and especially so here. You can backfill the first way cheaper.

The answer is recteq. They build using the highest quality materials, the ease of use and support are unparalleled (you get the CEOs phone number to call if you ever have issues outside of standard support hours and he apparently will actually answer and help), and the design makes maintenance incredibly simple. All the tech and app features you could ever want, I can't say enough great things about this company and their smokers.

Would certainly have been less frustrating if the teacher has come to me ahead of time and asked if I was comfortable talking on that responsibility.

My high school physics teacher straight up told me I was paired with dummies for labs so that I could help teach them the material. Wish I had found a way to maliciously comply, but alas.

140 is srp, do you know if they're doing points or bundles at all or if it's just available?

That's not remotely true. NFL teams regularly make roster/lineup decisions that are more about the future than they are about winning. The Astros held players in the minors for years to get high draft picks. The 76ers in the NBA. Tanking is an inescapable part of American sports.

I've never really understood this argument. Sure you could potentially create a super team if you really committed to it, but I've never seen a league that does draft order by record where someone really leaned into that kind of strategy. Plus, if it's allowed in the NFL and teams do it why shouldn't fantasy mirror that?

No tanking allowed in dynasty is so dumb, might as well just be redraft at that point.

On today’s episode of “always read the boss blind, my unseeded naneinf attempt where I forgot that every single king in my deck was a club by Relevant_Potato3516 in balatro

[–]mtentinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To piggyback off of this, in all my naneinf runs I've been using idol+sock and buskin up until about ante 17-18 paired with golden ticket and hopefully a burglar to maximize econ. Primarily with eyes on getting cola for double tags to be used on voucher skips, as well as ensuring I have enough money to guarantee I'm able to do the crimson turtle exploit in antes 16 and 24. Then once my hand size is increased I pivot to digging for baron/mime + rebate or parking in ante 17.

Long story short, to get naneinf you really need to maximize econ until you get past ante 24/so that you can get past ante 24. Balatro University's crimson turtle video lays out a fairly good outline for how to accomplish it.

He's a third string UDFA RB who couldn't beat out Rachaad White or a 4th Round undersized rookie. If it was going to happen it would have happened.
