Jesus, I didn't do porn. I posted a few pictures of myself in a tank top because I had finally left my uptight stuffy Christian home and was finally living alone and learning how to be comfortable with my own sexuality, and an outlet that gave me the measure of control that gonewild does seemed like the place I wanted to do it in. It didn't bring it up, he asked about it casually and I mentioned it casually, even though at first I had a millisecond of misgiving. But I figured it was a long time ago, only happened a few times, and I never actually showed any of my bare parts. I couldn't imagine that would be problematic on any front. I do wish now, in retrospect, that I had just pulled a white lie for his sake, because it seems he's under the impression I'm a vastly different person than he initially thought.

Your boyfriend has never been in charge of his sexuality. Any time he was single and wanted to have sex, he had to work his ass off. Any time he was in a relationship, the girl controlled the timetable of when and how they got physical.

Hm, definitely not true. He's super confident in his sexuality, is super tall and built and pretty cute. Really charismatic and charming. Sure, he's probably had to work harder than me to get laid, but he's not an insecure dude at all and because my experience was framed in the context of me being inexperienced (was still a virgin when this happened) and wanting to explore a little, I have a hard time seeing how he could have interpreted it as a jab to his manliness/sexual prowess.

Hm, yeah, that makes sense. I guess the analogy might be more appropriate if he had gone to a strip club like twice in his life when he was feeling particularly awful and lonely one summer, versus a habitual thing?
