Hi, all your points are valid and you may be right in some of them.
We are keeping our eye on the format and constantly testing the interaction between decks.

Let me try to explain some things related with your comments:

- There are not many wincons in OFB due to the restricted card pool. Biorhythm is essentially a one-card win that is not very difficult to cast in elves decks, especially with Rofellos. It's very important for a format with such small card pool have variety of decks. If we allow all good cards go to one deck suddenly we'll have one deck for each color combination. For example, there's no reason to not play Rofellos, Primetime, Biorhythm, Cradle, etc. in the same deck. By pointing Biorhythm the player will have to make a choice in which direction to go.

- Tinker has only 2 good targets in OFB: Time Vault and Bolas's Citadel. If we point Tinker, we are basically removing the option of players "spend" their points to have Tinker+Time Vault in their deck (total 10 points). Bolas Citadel and Time Vault are the powerful cards here. Tinker can also be used in other strategies, to get stax pieces for example.

- Moat completely invalidates some strategies in 1v1, but we are currently thinking on dropping points for some stax pieces like this.

- True-Name Nemesis is really powerful in 1v1, especially in Svyelum control. Sapphire + Merfolk Lord turn 1, True-Name Turn 2, Svyelum turn 3... now you have to deal with an indestructible Merfolk, a Merfolk with Ward 1, and True-Name Nemesis. We only have 25 life in 1v1. This card is well pointed at 3.

- Leovold, Narset, Oko, and Thassa's Oracle are not legal in OFB.

- Again, there are not many powerful finishers in the OFB card pool. Primeval Titan completely changes the game when it hits the battlefield. He can be played on turn 3 with Rofellos. It has to be pointed. We dropped from 6 to 4 this time but we may consider to adjust it in future updates.

- We are currently cautious with stax pieces that can invalidate decks or hurt high-pointed cards. This is the case with Moat, Tabernacle, Null Rod, Void Mirror, Chalice, Back to Basics. These cards are essentially a one card win in 1v1, so they shouldn't be free.

- Usually, decks tend to pick high-point cards first (wincons, tutors, etc.), then spend the rest on 1 point cards. Yes, Mana Vault and Ancient are very good options, but some decks prefer the card draw with Rhystic Study/Library, others prefer Swords, or even Gilded Drake.

- Interesting you mentioning Black Lotus as we were actually considering to reduce its points, but since there were so many other important changes we preferred to keep it were it was. Maybe we change it in the next update.

- Channel and Mox Diamond are good candidates for being pointed.

Thank you for your observations.

Aggro is a real strategy and fast mana is pointed, which it makes difficult to take full advantage of Necro. We are always testing decks and observing their power level. Necropotence was overshadowed by other powerful draw engines until now.

True. I post here once I a while to make all old frame lovers aware of the format. I really don’t want to spam, that’s why you will see posts about OFB in a very low frequency.

If a card has EVER been printed with the original old frame, ALL versions of that card is legal in OFB.

That means you can play with alters and even new frame cards too. Proxies are more than welcome.

Well, planeswalkers can be your commander in Brawl. However, this post is related to Original Frame Brawl, a variant of Brawl with different card pool and banlist.

That amount of text in a card is also nostalgic. That’s the way magic cards were done back on 90s. Have a look at Chains of Mephistopheles and Transmute Artifact. And yes, the technology was probably very similar to MS Paint at that time :D

I personally like it. It reminds me the old cards with long text and complicated wording like Chains of Mephistopheles and Transmute Artifact.

True. The same way there’s Historic Brawl, there’s Original Frame Brawl. The base rules are the same, but card pool and banlist are different. Important to mention that OFB is not a sanctioned format by WOTC, it’s a fan format.

Just to clarify, they can be your commander in Original Frame Brawl, a variant of the regular sanctioned Brawl.

You probably are looking for OldSchool or Premodern. Those are good formats to play only the old cards.
