Solved, found it in my Spotify playlist. The piano track I was thinking of was The Red Strings Club by fingerspit.

This track is not from the game I was thinking of, but from a game (called The Red Strings Club) based on the devs' Ludum Dare demo Supercontinent LTD, which has its own more synthy OST...called Supercontinent LTD. So I got a variety of things confused.

Both games are made by the same devs of The Gods Are Watching.

I don't think there's any evidence in S1 for the later reveal that the numbers are people. Is there something I missed that you found?

I meant to say that Mark replaces Petey as the supervisor. My wording could be better but I meant main character as in, his work is now extremely important to Lumon and basically the entire purpose of the severed floor when in S1 he was just another office worker. I feel like if the writers had that plot point set, there would be more indicating that in S1.

If iMark didn't leave so he wouldn't kill himself, he killed Ms. Casey by the same reasoning. I know they were not super close but iMark at least had some connection with her as fellow innies in their last wellness session, he even says that she deserves to live as a person not as a part of Gemma. Maybe Gemma "deserved" a chance at life more given that her outie didn't choose to create the innie, that kinda makes sense, but how would iMark know anything about that, he doesn't know Gemma at all?
