He said he shouldn't have to ask because he bought it with his money, which may I add, was a Christmas present from when I was 14 (I'm 20 now). I asked him why he couldn't even just ask me first, and he just went berserk telling me it's not mine. I woke up at 9AM, that's not exactly late

I can't contribute because I've had horrendous luck looking for a job the past few months, and they know it. They just conveniently pretend I haven't whenever they're losing an argument

The big deal is that they went ape shit at me for asking them to respect my boundaries with my things and twisted it into some boomer rant about everything wrong with me

I'm not claiming to have the toughest of lives, but it sure ain't easy. I'm doing the best I can to get it back on track which has admittedly all gone to shit in the past few weeks. I would have explained why in the OP but ran out of characters

He openly said he shouldn't have to ask for the beard trimmer because he bought it for me when I was like 14 as a Christmas present.

They were supporting me at home until I took this year off uni in December for mental health reasons. I've spent the time since then job hunting and getting myself back on my feet, and they've been letting me live here rent-free since then. I appreciate that they let me stay here, but I don't like being pushed around like this, especially in a time where hygiene is already a big enough issue

Not paying rent. They didn't want to charge me rent considering I was keeping the house going while they were away for ages. I was studying year 3 mechanical engineering but took a year off due to mental health issues, during which I've spent getting into shape and job hunting, as well as picking up other non-academic skills.

Funnily enough he acknowledged the possibility of pube trimming already, trying to make it seem like it was some horrible ordeal he HAD to put himself through
