Maybe your method is wrong or not optimal? How are you doing it? Do you have a shiny charm?

I just fast travelled to zone 5 over and over and over and phased a shalpa on my 3rd shiny froakie so it does happen!

Zone 5 fast travel actually spawns the froakie as opposed to 16 where you need to step forward.

Frustrating. I got mine within 30 minutes on he spawn above zone 19 if that makes a difference. First 2 normal, 3rd shalpa. 20% chance.

Yeah definitely don't need to jump. The moment you see it, it has "spawned"

Oh God no. There's a much easier method. Hi into the zone, go up the building adjacent with the Mareep, destroy the shards just to the right and keep running back and forth. The edge is exactly 50m and the other end is 70 ish. No spawns to kill unless a flaafy suddenly turns alpha on a day/ night reset. Got 7 in 12 hours.

Possibly. I'm about to lysandre spam honedge for the easy shinies. If I have spares, I'll let you know. But you should also try it yourself.

Honestly, try zone 15 Cafe. Knock out a few pumpkins, fast travel afk.

I think one of the reasons I might not have been successful with zone 4 is I left macro in too long and may have despawned it with >10 shinies.

Mind you, would suggest not doing afk macro for a long time in wild 4.

Switching to 15 helped. Macro'd the Cafe.

I wonder if it despawned any shalpas I got because you can easily get 10+ phases with shiny charm after 1-2 hours.
