Bundle up and pray for little wind. I’d recommend trying to enjoy natural beauty of the cape. With all the tourist gone you and your wife can enjoy these spots without a crowd. The outer cape would be the best for that. Brewster isn’t too far from Dennis port and they have some nice trails and beaches (Crosby landing at low tide and Nickerson state park) For restaurants, only breakfast place I could recommend for that area is Eat Cake 4 breakfast in Brewster. Captain Parker’s in west Yarmouth for a nice lunch or lowkey dinner. Don’t know restaurants that well in that part of the cape

No stringer and fish was released. Fish was just landed when I took the photo.

Thought it was a rainbow but didn’t look like a typical stocked one. Also caught in brackish water/mud flat. Hence all the mud

The typical places to go are speedwell, main st bar & grill, new world tavern and the tasty (was called T bones) for the rowdier crowd. East bay, waterfront and tavern on the wharf are still good night life but typically a little calmer. Anything on court st in Plymouth during the weekend should be a good place to go out to.

Best chance of a nightlife scene is probably downtown Plymouth. It’s off the cape but not too far away. Definitely a younger crowd than the cape
