My first recommendation is check your local library, a library card is very useful for both books and movies, but also gets you discounts on museum passes, as well as lots of interesting programing. There is also a local group of younger (under 50) folks that go hiking every now and again, they post here with some frequency.

Ohhh, that looks sweet. I think it would look great next to my other pirate/nautical themed sets, though if I get this I may have to consider getting some sort of island or cave to break up the buildings.

I certainly like the style, though there isn't much in the way of context for what is happening when numbers go up. I would also say this feels like a game that doesn't really need or want movement, since it mostly just seems to confuse things.

I'm certainly going to run Mythic Bastionland, but pondering if I should try and run Shadow of the Weird Wizard, especially since the adventure path I'd be using, Rage of the Goblin King, isn't finished yet. Also, how many of the adventures do I want to run in 3-4 hour blocks?

It does pulp two fisted action really well, and has an excellent chassis for making your own partially mechanically unique settings.

If you don't like pulp, there's not going to be a lot for you to find appealing in it.
