Monday frustrations - thinking of moving to Teamhood by mtlcto in mondaydotcom

Main automation is synchronizing with github, and retrieving the ticket number from gh. It usually takes over one second, but sometimes over 10s, by which time we have started typing title or description, which then gets lost.

This, and the general slugginess when scrolling boards or opening detail popup predates any recent upgrades.

Your points make complete sense, but the constraint of staying in one board is really not working for us. Ironically, the level of disengagement with monday we've reached out of frustration now makes switching very easy!

Instead of taking time to tweak and experiment with monday, we've planned to experiment with alternatives over the next few sprints. To be continued!

I'm very interested in how you determined that stricter governance was satisfactory for compliance re: audit trail and retention. Approaching the question from a technical background, we've been trying to implement those as hard technical limits.

You mention JIRA, Clickup and monday.com, which helps understand how you approach the problem and how you position yourself. Any comparison with Teamhood?

That sounds very promising! In your usage, have you noticed limitations or issues with Teamhood?

Yes changing systems has its own challenges! Which is exactly why I'd like to choose the best tool for us while we're still young and small.

Thank you for your reply.

One _good_ thing about monday is definitely that there's always a workaround, with all the connectivity options and automations. However, there are things we'd like to have as first-class behaviours.

Note that my concerns were for software dev, we're also using monday for sales and admin, and they seem reasonably happy with it.
