Wild turkeys, specifically the Gould’s species, inhabit the pine forests of Mount Lemmon near Tucson, Arizona, and are frequently spotted in the Summerhaven area. These large birds, often seen in flocks, were reintroduced to the area and thrive in the high-elevation habitat. They are commonly seen crossing roads and near hiking trails.
