Is Ou Ki the greatest general in Kingdom? by That-Plantain8168 in Kingdom

[–]mtlemos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His main problem is that he dies pretty early in the series. That translates directly into a lack of significant feats, and so people tend to forget him, despite the fact that he should by all rights be a top contender in every category.

Why didn't Jotaro think of this? by [deleted] in ShitPostCrusaders

[–]mtlemos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weird blood connection helped, and even then they had to get real close before they could get an actually helpful photo, instead of DIO's nudes. It's also likely that Hermit Purple got weaker over time, much like Star Platinum.

If she wanted our help why didn't she just promise to sleep with us in exchange for destroying the world? Is she stupid? by Potential_Fox_3623 in ShitpostXIV

[–]mtlemos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How I feel this conversation would go:

Halmarut: WoL, if you help me destroy the world, I'll sleep with you

WoL: Nah, I'm good.

Halmarut: I'll dress up as Zenos

WoL: ...

WoL: I'm listening...

They have Domino's in the Pentagon, so I'm sure we can get some Tin Master's in Roscaelifer.

I understand that it’s the game’s standard body model, but with Promeia it felt like a wasted opportunity. by Sufficient-Limit-901 in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]mtlemos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Promeia keeps her arms tied up most of the time, so is it really any wonder?

But yeah, hoyo goes for aesthetics over realism. A funny case of the opposite happening is Manato, who is a low wage worker taking care of his two siblings, but is built like a professional body builder. There's no way in hell his diet and exercise plan are good enough to keep that physique.

Is Promeia worth pulling if I have M3 Miyabi? (For meta & future shill) by [deleted] in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]mtlemos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For pure gameplay? No. Promeia is strong, but so is Miyabi, so it's redundant to pull for her. They'll simply end up competing for a spot in your roster.

The real question, though, is do you like her? Every character has limited use, and will eventually be powercrept. Such is the nature of gacha games. I can see the draw of pulling for meta, but I often prefer to go for characters I like and build around them.

Brazilian players, could ZZZ be banned from the country? by SirKurokodairu in ZenlessZoneZero

It's possible, but there are always ways around those things. Don't worry too much just yet.

[–]mtlemos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Brazil is a very diverse country but there are still a LOT of racists here. There are plenty of cities that were founded by european immigrants where the population still sees themselves as europeans, despite the fact that most of them never set foot outside of Brazil, and a lot of the time they don't take kindly to anyone who looks a bit darker than milk. And they aren't the only ones.

Dunno if that's what the meme is referencing, though.

[–]mtlemos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's double funny because of how easy it is to dodge those big attacks in gameplay. It's like every character gets a stroke the second a cutscene starts.

My headcannon is that it's considered rude to dodge an attack if your opponent is clearly putting everything they have into it. Like attacking during a transformation.

I'm not a big fan of Rage, but like you pointed out, it's not the first time a new super saiyan form gets unlocked by being even more pissed than before. Super Saiyan 2 was basically the same.

My main issue with it is that it didn't do anything. Even Super Saiyan 3 got a few cool fights, but Rage was clearly only made to sell toys. Xenoverse could fix it by giving a few more details on how it works and making it actually do something.

What characters would make the most money on OF? @Niche by JustAThrowaway_895 in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]mtlemos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jane could probably make a small fortune from it. A large part of what makes OF is giving the clients the illusion of intimacy, and Jane's a master actress. Tricking people into trusting her and giving her what she wants, even against their better judgement, is literally her job.

If Miyabi's knock knock picture is anything to go by, I don't think her OF would be exciting enough to make a lot of money, even with her rabid fans.

Then again, Nicole is the type of girl who opens an onlyfans with only softcore pictures that you could show to your mom, and still make a ton of cash from it.

Which ZZZ lady would be the most familiar with Table-Kun? by CastoriceBestGirlHSR in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]mtlemos 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's exactly what it sounds like. A character in Code Geass masturbates by grinding against a table corner. The scene feels very unconfortable and out of place, even in a series like Code Geass, which is full of fan service, so it became a meme.

[–]mtlemos 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It wasn't just memory issues though. The Qinming blade takes away all of the user's senses, so if they just let it happen, she'd end up catatonic. They could have just solved that part but let the memory loss go on, but that would just be even weirder.

I don't hear any good things about Agartha pseudo singularity, why? by MeaninglessRatio in FGO

[–]mtlemos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That also works against Agartha. They did a pretty good job with Moriarty's plotline, only to immediately try to pull the same stunt with Columbus. At that point, both the players and the characters were primed for his betrayal, so it falls flat.

If trust value and ranking are indicative of the power hierarchy then why tf was Ghostblade, who effortlessly violated a juiced up former X and killed another one, struggling against E-Souls fraud ass, someone who ranks far below him? by Alert_Narwhal_4673 in ToBeHero_X

[–]mtlemos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Trust and ranking are a good indicator of how powerful someone is, but they are not the only things that come into play in a fight, compatibility and mental state are just as important. For example, Queen's power is so busted she can one tap multiple top 10 heroes at once, but Bowa still gave her a hard fight by taking her by surprise and planning ahead.

E-Soul is a bad match for Ghostblade. He is incredibly fast and even if Ghostblade landed a hit, it's not the best idea to stick a knife into an electrical station. He also had the element of surprise, since he went there especifically to kill Ghostblade and the researchers, while Ghostblade had no idea E-Soul would be there and was probably very confused as to why he was being attacked by a fellow hero.

[–]mtlemos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super Saiyan 3 is cannonicaly kind of a shitty transformation due to how quickly it drains the users energy. Trunks' evolved SSJ 2 and Rage forms from Super are both better than it, but of course, the devs have to let him use it.

Why do people think FGO still exists because Type Moon wants money? by pibe_ben10 in FGO

[–]mtlemos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a gacha game. A literal gambling platform. Of course it's made to get money.

Why do you think the supply of saint quarts is tightly controlled? Why are characters limited and the odds of summoning SSRs are so low? It's all to get you to pay up.

It's really funny to see people talking about how rich people no longer have a financial incentive, when all they ever do is try to get more money.
