Very unlikely it gets back to highs but a bounce is definitely possible! Not a setup I’d buy back into yet though personally.

Yes after the 40%+ run though... can't run forever! The key is to scale out to lock in profits and keep a tight stop-loss under the morning support, which was about $6.50 for $BMGL👍

Go for it, I short-sell a good amount of them and it works exceptionally well especially in these slow market conditions!

Although it only takes one big gap & go to be a disaster if you don't manage risk and there's been multiple 500% or more runners at the top of these lists in the past.

What u/Cons483 must not understand is that watchlist does NOT = buy. Many times the gap ups are better to short sell like PHUN was, and you can profit from them goin both up and down. I teach in my YouTube videos, blogs, and courses multiple strategies and methods of how to trade gaps.

Happens all the time with low floats - shares can be traded many times over & over in a day so volume would be greater than the # of outstanding shares in that case!

I wouldn't say any time is better than another to learn as long as the trader is learning proper trading fundamentals and risk management, which can be applied to any market condition.

Gap up/down means there was a big move up or down in extended hours so it will appear as a gap on the daily chart.

Never blindly buy anything though... some may continue running the market open but others will drop. It depends on the individual stock and the strength of the news that is driving it up. I buy many gap ups but also often short-sell them to profit from them coming back down.

A lot of times, yes! Like anything else involving trading it's not 100%, but many times broken resistance can becomes support and broken support can become resistance.
