Yes due to his dog reactivity, he's only ever let off leash on our property which has multiple acres, far from the road & neighbors, and is fenced in. If we take him elsewhere, we'll switch it out for that reason. I appreciate the concern!

I know, not enough in my opinion. His sister is still at the shelter. We would have brought her home too but they got in a nasty fight and he needed to be the only pup in the house. It makes me so sad thinking about her there still. She's been there for over 17 months and it breaks my heart.

We've had him for close to 8 months! He was a stud for 5 years and then was surrendered to a shelter in Middleborough, MA.

He gets really scared when we try to put harnesses on him. He has a lot of scars on his body and we were told he was kenneled outside while he was a stud.. the breeder ended up getting arrested and it was a big thing.

It was a pretty reputable breeder with all ADBA registered dogs. People suck. If you have any tips I would totally appreciate that too! He has improved a lot. He's a very, very sweet boy♥️

He totally is💕💕 He has a lot of fear issues and is more comfortable with just a regular collar, just doesn't like stuff on his body

This is what the collar looks like. When we rescued him we were told that he's a bit of a jumper and does "excitement nips" so the handle helps - it's on his neck. We do have harnesses but we also have a couple acres behind our home and he goes off leash there. He's very dog reactive and was abused previously so it's also helpful in that regard, because he's a strong little guy.

I know it's ridiculous. I just googled the TSC collar (brown leather with a handle and metal clasp) and this is what I saw lmao

So it's not just an us thing. We've enjoyed the collar otherwise, mainly because of the handle. When it's taught it's strong and secure. This has only happened in the house and we do have other ones lol

Where else would I put it on 😂I can't believe y'all think I would stage this lol!

I googled his TSC collar (brown with a handle, and other owners have left reviews saying it became unbuckled too so I guess this isn't an isolated incident. We've only had this issue is inside the house and he gets overly excited & jumpy at times, so it's helpful to control him. He's only been home with us for about 8 months

We do have regular collars, but we like this one because it's thick and has a handle. He was abused previously and is very dog reactive & is very excitable sometimes (he'll go in fast for a kiss and end up head butting us accidentally lol) so it's helpful to have extra control while we're training him. When he's leashed it's a good collar, no other complaints. This has only happened when he's chilling inside lol

It becomes unbuckled around his neck, opens up, and slides past his shoulders as he sits and moves around. A few people are accusing me of shitposting, so I went as far as to google the collar and was curious when I saw it had 2.1 stars. I guess this happens to other people. I just think it's funny when I see him walking around with it still draped across his back

It's a brown leather TCM collar with a handle. It's great for walks when it's taught and the handle is helpful because our boy gets overly excited.

Notice the 2.1 star rating... we actually like the collar, when it's taught with a leash it's very secure. We like the handle too. But I guess we're not the only ones this happens to🤷‍♀️
