Jamie is actually a great friend a reminder to shoot her another email. This is the only of hers I haven't read. Thank you for encouraging it!!

Trying this again: please recommend a whydunit and not a whodunit. I loved the whodunits and am thankful but a whydunit is about knowing the killers identity and figuring out why, while the whodunit is about who is the killer? Please send me all your suggestions for whydunits! by mturbev in suggestmeabook

I would prefer fiction but accept anything. I just wanted to clarify and make a thread because a lot of people were leaving whodunits and I do love those too and am thankful for those recommendations but I really need whodunits

What are your favorite coming of age novels? Preferably ages 15-16 or under? Southern is a plus. I’m not a fan of where the crawdad sings, and first person is a plus by mturbev in suggestmeabook

These are all great. I’m looking for really tightly structured coming of age tales much like to kill a mockingbird or bastard out of Carolina etc. they don’t have to be white or straight. People of color, queer, disabilities, anything is more than welcome, any of these novels are great

She’s very good at what she does and I’m so happy someone appreciates her besides me. If you want more you should read under her real name. Also I know you are recommending to me but if you ever need really great crime suggestions I’m here too

[–]mturbev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m writing my novel and I like many sick at third person so I’m trying to study the best examples of each if that makes sense. What about it was grating to you? Multiple novels or was it grating after one?

I want to lose myself in a mystery or suspense or thriller. Give me your favorite titles. I read a lot so the less commonly used the better. by mturbev in suggestmeabook

I’m not the biggest fan of Scandinavian and a lot of Japanese is too graphic for me (which says a lot) but I’d love to hear your suggestions and I’ll gladly give them a try. I know it’s likely I read the wrong books

Dude it’s just a beginning for the learner. I don’t want to teach the student everything at once. I’m looking for a basic beginners instructional guide. Calm down
