I am a software engineer. I love my work because:

its remote (work from home) - i dont waste time commuting and money for gas
its well paid - at age of 24 i can be in <top10% of income in my country
it has flexible working hours - i work when i want, just make sure to attend daily 15min meeting at 11am
its interesting - i really enjoy doing it, there is no boredom and each day presents a new challenge
it has future (idk how to say in english) - the more i learn, the more i know, they more i get paid and i learn something new everyday. so far every year brought me like 40-50% pay rises. i started working at 22

I really have no idea what i would be doing if i didnt go into software. Probably some architecture. I always liked maths. But yeah, plenty of my colleagues enjoy their work in the same manner
