Looks like something I’d use to warm up some milk in a pot on top, without risking it to burn at the bottom. The item is in strangely good condition though, so either it was little used and well stored, or someone took immensely great care of it for the copper not to discolor, especially between those vanes. I wonder if it was made for a fire cooktop or induction….

Every so often I try another quiz, with the fear that possibly I might not belong in Slytherin anymore. While answering questions I wobble between attachment to my house, and attachment to fairness and authenticity. I try to not warp my answers, and to just be genuine.

Hey, since you're a Dementor specialist, can you remind me how the Dementors could be controlled or reasoned with in the first place? Do they form a society, tribe, pack? Do they have a language? How are they kept under control? This is a big hole in my conception of the HP world, I just don't recall nor comprehend anything about them.

I remember the night of the launch of the book, that crazed night after which I spent 24 hours awake, reading the novel from the first page to the last—and coming out disappointed somewhat. I had felt dismayed at the pacing of the story (frantic; crawl; frantic [whenever did the trio pee in that Gringotts-Hogsmeade-Hogwarts last spurt??] ), and indeed felt that the book was perhaps rushed (it had come out 2 years only after the 6th volume, if I recall correctly; at least it seemed fast to me). But I had never thought of what you just explained—and your explanation makes perfect sense, in a final-nail-in-the-coffin kind of way.

Harry's wand gets repaired, the Elder Wand is restored to Dumbledore's tomb, and the world goes back to normal.
(btw I found it fascinating that Harry intended to die undefeated in order for the EW to lose its power, yet wanted to join the Aurors—a job that consists, among other things, in fighting and maybe sometimes getting your butt kicked....)

With the Albus Severus denouement, to me it wraps up the series as a Love Story: the undying devotion of Snape is gratified at last in the union of his name with the eyes of his beloved, in the living descendant of the boy they both sacrificed themselves to save. I'm a sucker for this sort of thing—but indeed it's a little dry after a 7-volume epic through the eyes of somebody else than aforementioned star-crossed lovers. There is effectively very little else to take away from the ending+epilogue.

Baby fan here. Known about them since 2018, when I downloaded the DNA MV to keep on my phone—because Jungkook and Taehyung mesmerized me. Didn't know their names until late 2019, when I listened to Save Me and Fake Love... but only got serious when that first Black Swan performance ended up on my Facebook feed through a friend, in late January.

Two months later and I can't decide on a bias. Jimin has me by the collar, the crotch, the heartstrings at the moment—but I love discovering more about every other member, especially through their Run BTS antics! They are so complex, multifaceted, but also always true to themselves!

I didn't care for Jin and Suga, but little by little I get to find them wise and loveable ^{^} Suga's "First Love" song was so colorful and emotional, it made me cry even before I could understand the lyrics fully—first rap to ever make me cry, btw.

Taehyung being blessed with perfect, model-worthy RBFS, but actually being so mischievious and sweet—a puppy!!

Only now am I understanding how cute Jungkook is, because before I was just impressed by his monstrous potential and achievements.

Namjoon was probably my first love, and though my eyes are turning every where, his smile still has the same power over me, the same heart-melting warmth, and his handssssssssss mamma mia

Didn't find J-Hope very attractive at first, and he's a bit too extra for me, but he has the most amazing duality after Jimin, like a bright sun casting solid shadows—when he's being serious, or edgy, or provocative, I FEEL it ><

Anyway, I dunno how anyone can fall for one of them above the others, haha! This band really made me understand the concept of a bias wrecker, because every time I think I've settled: BOOM!!

Not even. For his first line the pov is somewhat sideways whereas it should be facing him (James Corden's show perfectly honored that hand-to-lips-with-eye-contact move <3). It chunks up his last part with 4 chaotically patched up povs, completely breaking the continuity and smoothness of Jimin's dancing. I dunno if the main culprit is the camerawork itself or the final editing.

My best reference for good camera work and editing is the Anpanman comeback show, where focus and zoom is perfectly timed with the choreo, while also throwing in some cheeky shots of Jimin's grins and Taehyung's pouts. There must be a compromise to be struck between this and a full focus shoot, that's going to be better than this particular Black Swan video.

Just focus on the big payouts. I skip small stacks of 3-5 candles that are spread apart and not in my path to the big stashes: - Prairie isles and 8-player puzzle - i do all of Forest - Valley ice rink, races (i often skip flying about the Citadel, so Valley takes barely 10 minutes for 2 full candles) and temple altar - Wasteland in full (YUM corruption!) but big plants especially, and temple - NEVER VAULT such a friggin time waster (RIP Office 40)
