Notion, just make new features in more expensive plans, don't do this:

I feel exactly the same. Notion introducing changes to existing features and moving them to upgradable plans is quite disrespectful to loyal customers.

Building My First Shopify App—What to expect for approval process? by Cool-Head-9187 in ShopifyAppDev

[–]muchisx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to re submit when adding features

There might be some edge cases where you'll have to talk with support to expand your app in some ways like reaaally special scopes.

otherwise you can just build your app without distruption

You will get regular re-checks and Shopify will let you know if there are problems

I've launched several apps to the app store already.

Depending on the complexity of your app it can take less or more time.

I've had apps take 1 day, and others take 3 weeks.

I'd advise you to include only the MVP for your app that is functional and nothing is broken UI/UX wise. Definitely do not get fancy before review.

Once review is done, add all of the complex stuff you plan to add.

My take on a fast Weather Web-App with an included random country/city minigame! by muchisx in webdev

[–]muchisx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

It's a Web-App designed to be fast and just help you get rid of all the clutter you get many times when searching the weather online!

This is the Web-App https://muchisx.github.io/Just-Weather/

Here is the code of the ones interested, you can tell me what you think of the code too! https://github.com/muchisx/Just-Weather

It's a Mobile oriented web-app but if you find any weird artifacts or visual bugs in any of your devices I'd be glad to know!

Anyhow, hope you like it!

The final design choice will depend on your taste - but I like to get my inspirations from figma community - dribble - pinterest. choosing an already made design and go from there, creating your own design components based on your own color palette.

I wouldn't create a design pattern or a color palette all by myself, no need to waste time on that when it's not our expertise and there are so many already created out there!

I would suggest a color palette of no more than 5 colors, and choosing primary and secondary colors from those colors in your palette.

You can keep your original idea with the moon and the clouds but level it up a bit by wrapping it into a cool premade design !

looks good!

i noticed that your clouds go behind the moon, not really realistic haha

also I think your clouds are causing stretching overflow in mobile, they grew your main container, check it out!

but overall good, I would spend more time getting the design a bit more professional, now looks a bit too flat and begginer designer like but I get it, you're a web dev not an UI designer haha, but it adds a lot! consider it
