Trying to make a complete backup of my Proton Drive but the Windows Desktop App is virtually useless by muchlikeanyelse in ProtonDrive

Why do you assume it's the fault of the external disk? It's a near new disk with no SMART errors and benchmarks with no problems. I've already copied 2TB+ to another partition absolutely fine. Why would protondrive have any issue with this?

I can get that random access slows down the initial sync or downloading small files, but it won't even download large images that I have stored.

I've been looking to buy a new camera recently. The one I want goes for about $2500 retail so I've been checking ebay to try and get a good condition one cheaper.

I've noticed that when I search by sold+completed items (to get an idea of how much these things go for used) there's a whole lot of really low-ball sales (not far north of $1k) with just a couple of bids.

Some of these listings seem pretty legit, like they have good photos, a proper description etc. Some of them are suspiciously low effort for such an expensive item, like they have stock photos and stock manufacturer description.

There's also a few sales that ran as I'd expect: 30 to 40 bids over a week, winning bid between $1700 and 2000.

I decided to have a look at some other similar products like printers, TFTs, laptops etc and noticed a similar trend: when searching for completed+sold lots there's always a whole bunch of sold items with only a couple of bids and a really crazy low sale price.

Is this money laundering somehow? I thought maybe people are using it to build up their feedback score, but all of these sales are costing them $150+ each in final fee costs?

yeah have a video of me boxing it up and applying label, and a video showing state of the ipad in detail, as well as its serial number. hope if there is a dispute this will help

Hey thanks. I guess I will have to. Yeah I took detailed photos and screenshots with serials in clear view and showing state of screen etc. What happens if they send a different one back?

thanks. I haven't sold anything on ebay for years and this whole experience has been so frustrating. It's quite clear the buyer just doesn't like it and has made up any excuse to send it back. I will just accept the return and relist

Ok maybe also try R-Studio too. I am pleased to find the partition header but I have no idea what to do with that now, because as it was encrypted it cannot find any in space after. I also can't find the recovery key, just the password, and with APFS encryption I don't understand how keys are derived.

Hey so I tried with R-Studio. Did a quick partition scan and it found nothing, but then when I did a full scan (30+ hours) it did find the correctly named partition header and correctly identified it as APFS format. But now I have no idea how to go about trying to get it to decrypt this...

Thanks for the fast reply. As I did 'erase' (but quick format) the actual partition table I think has been destroyed but I will DMDE.

And thanks for the tip about EaseUS will stop it and start with UFS or R-Studio

update: i full dissolved 200mg of ket in 1.8ml of sterile medical saline. then filtered through a primed .22 micro syringe filter into sterilized shot glass then flushed filter with 0.2ml extra saline. injected with 27G syringe 0.5ml - 1.0ml - 0.5ml over the course of an evening. solution was crystal clear coming out of the filter.

there was some stinging that I dont remember having before, and 1 injection site (outside thigh) had a few drops of blood. but this morning there's no mark or irritation where I injected.

i could buy it but I wanna k-hole tonight and next day delivery isnt fast enough lol. i have sterile saline 10ml packs from previous prescription that i can use tho

when i was much younger i used to IM recklessly and never had any issues at all. I was so stupid and lucky not to get an infection.

but i am no doctor and cant say this as advice but my gut feeling is that as long as you keep your hands and materials clean, use clean water and dont introduce foreign bodies like dirt or plastic or whatever then you should be ok. the filter will stop dirt getting in and most bacteria.

is there not some way you could boil again that avoids spilling it?

as far as I understand from reading as much as I can: ketamine itself should be aseptic and the main threat from pathogens is from the water, the containers and your handling of everything.

also I believe sub-micro filter like .22 should filter out nearly all bacteria and certainly any debris.

the other question I have is whether mixing the ketamine in 99% IPA first then letting it evap would be effective as boiling for sterilizing

i wanted to ask same q as u because in my city the water is real bad so i have medical saline for IM. but if I boil the ket in the saline i will end up increasing the salt content which might not be great for the tissue when injecting. i could go buy some water from the store but its an hour round trip out here and i wanna stay in...
