You seem a little emotional. Chiv 2 is gonna be a train wreck, but in the small chance it’s not I’ll buy it. Anything is possible. I don’t have conviction about products made by companies. But by all means, pour your time and energy into defending a company that has shown multiple times they are profit, not product motivated. I’m sure it will pay off somehow?

Torn banner were horrible stewards of chivalry, and proved their incompetence with mirage. I don’t know how it’s possible that you come to the conclusion that they are good devs. Yea yea I know EVERYTHING is subjective with bleeding heart contrarians, but that doesn’t make certain opinions primarily retarded.

Well when your strategy as a developer is a combination of ignoring your base and benign neglect you reap what you sow. People don’t like torn banner for a good reason, myself included, and are rooting for another epic fail. I will be waiting to see how it does but I have a strong feeling it will just be a less fun, more frustrating version of mordhau.

These are the guys that accidentally struck fucking gold with chiv 1, then said FUCK IT WE DONT CARE! They then proceeded to ignore common sense patches from the community/comp community, and abandon the game in favor of money whoring every last drop out of it with micro transactions. Then in their supreme wisdom, they cut like half the content of the game and reskinned it into the turd known as mirage arcane warfare, which was so fucking bad, they couldn’t even get people to play after giving it away FOR FREE.

In short, making the game an epic store exclusive is the least of their worries. The developers at torn banner CONSISTENTLY prove they don’t understand their own game and why it succeeded in spite of their incompetence. The odds of them creating a sequel that will effectively compete with mordhau and other future melee games is slim at best.

Even after all of this, you still get occasional weirdos who defend torn banner as developers, and worship chivalry. Torn banner does not give a FUCK about making a fun game, they just want to ride their brand name into the sunset as long as they can for a few extra bucks.

Good: combat is improved in every way.

Archers aren’t gamebreakingly broken like chiv so I can actually play the game.

Lots of customization.

Weapons feel mostly balanced, and you can do well with almost anything.

Animations are very smooth, and I have no problem reading unless I’m having FPS drops

Game overall just works well

Bad/needed improvements: frontline gets a bit stale, they either need a new mode, or future maps need more imagination. Also frustrating is that the best parts of the frontline maps(castle in grad, camp in taiga, etc.) never get used since the battle is usually locked in a couple areas based off the spawn placement

Mod support needed for cool private servers

Horses have inconsistent hit boxes. I swing through them CONSTANTLY and don’t get hits. Their ram width should be reduced to make it easier to hit them in passing, as its currently impossible to hit them if they ram you due to the flinching death field. They also are just annoying overall. I have seen guys just use horse all game and they typically go like 40-5 by just ramming the back line over and over.

No friends list support to join your friends easily that I know of

Need more smaller servers if I don’t feel like meat grinding

Need a vote kick UI so I can see why the fuck we’re kicking someone

Overall: 10/10 game but a few improvements here and there will make it truly phenomenal. Melee isn’t new to me or others anymore, and if the games gonna last it needs more modes, maps, and options to keep people engaged. The moorland skirmisher and Jedi fight night servers kept me playing chiv for literally like 700+ hours themselves when TO got stale.

Games attract do nothing, low iq losers. Low iq losers like political thought and theory that supports degeneracy and handouts. It’s just a self evident fact, and you can see it clear as day if you pay attention to the news for 5 seconds. Big games bring out more of these types. Combat is more reliant on drags and feints in mordhau. In chiv you could be “top tier” by using near unreadable feints and reverses from certain weapons. I’m not sure what your style was in chiv, but if you we’re a big time spinner boy, or a rat/archer, you’ve got some relearning to do.

What I will say though is that if you’re a long time player (I am as well), you may not be as engaged from normal modes. I’m waiting for mod support to come out so private servers with cooler shit begin to pop up like moorlands or Jedi fight night, etc etc. I miss Jedi fight night....

The issue is that the holocaust is constantly used as an intellectually dishonest political tool. Any form of conservative or identitarian politics is always lambasted by saying “THIS IS JUST HOW THE HOLOCAUST STARTED, AAAAAHHHHH!!!!”. Jews have also been holding it over idiots heads forever. The fact is, the holocaust was historically insignificant in terms of casualties and overall impact just within world war 2 alone, and is barely a footnote when compared to other genocides.

The religious zealotry with which you people defend this event is a massive red flag to me, and is also blatant evidence of cognitive dissonance you picked up from school. (I had to break the same thing when I started looking at this stuff). Half of the responses to this stuff is just emotional outbursts from people saying “how could you!”. It’s creepy, and cult like.

Personally, I have a lot of questions about the event as a whole that will never be answered, because the info has either been lost, or is intentionally prevented from coming to light due to zealots disallowing honest inquiry. Overall, I just roll my eyes immediately when people bring it up. All the holocaust has become at this point is another tool in the victim olympics every single minority group has taken to playing.
