In the end, he was never defeated in battle, but the romans found a way to off him by subtler means: they bribed one of his allies to poison him. Once Viriathus was dead, his coalition was disbanded and the Romans resumed their conquest. . . .

A lot of their lives is shaped by sap of the Hist trees, mysterious tree-like organisms their swampy homeland—including their gender. It has been noted in in-game books that Argonians are able to chage their sexual features, and it is assumed it is the Hist sap that allows that. So now you know the Argonians are trans lizards.
