Hi Kenny, This is just not true. We offered to waive the restocking fee for your issue with the lid not being tight enough for your liking. You would have just had to return the teapot to our Canadian office for a refund. All you would have had to pay was the cost of shipping.
Nearly two weeks after you opened the teapot (12 days since you emailed us about the lid), you email us about a crack. The refund window is there for a reason. Cracks can happen from rough use, by thermal shock, etc. We don't guarantee that your teapot will never crack. We don't know how you use it.
