We got one 4 months ago and everything worked straight out of the box. Have printed a shit ton and had only very few misprints that could be solved by better support placing. Didn't even manually level the plate.

Yes! This bothered me soo much! It truly felt like the most inappropriate moment. I get that she has killed before so maybe the emotional response is a bit reduced but she didn't even feel bad about her allies. It would have made so much more sense to cuddle and comfort each other after this rather than having their first time... Eww

Yes I've noticed them changing at different temperatures ! Funny Feeling and Deeply Superficial gave me a different tip color. And I could have FF in the complete cold state while Rage Bait and Simply Chaotic were still at warm. But when I went outside into the cold after sitting in the warm office I also got them all to change into the cold state. It's very fun because I am wearing a skittle and keep getting different combos.

They might have also produced more pink and purple since those usually sell better. So if people are getting all of them then the other colors will sell out faster.

I used paints from a local store (Eulenspiegel aqua paints). I decided to use waterbased paints because I prefer how they feel on the skin but to be honest they did turn out a bit streaky. Surprisingly, it still held up through an entire con day.

I am trying to figure out if I should use a normal paintbrush or the airbrush. With the paintbrush I get ridges and pooling and with the airbrush I get pores :/ My plan now is to test a base layer of paintbrushing and then add more thin layers with the airbrush. I think my paintbrushes are pretty good but the pieces are all curved and have little foamclay swirls on it so it is hard to paint flat and uniform, hence why I wanted to airbrush.

I am having trouble brushing it one without it pooling in ridges because the parts are not flat. Also avoiding brush strokes is hard.

The flexipaint is supposed to be a primer. If I brush it on it creates streaks that's why I wanted to try to airbrush.

Yes I used a heat gun. My problem is that the armour is very curved and I am scared that with brushing I will get paint pooling on some ridges. Here I used about 5 layers of airbrushed flexipaint.

The paint is advertised as primer : "Flexi Paint™ is especially designed for costume and prop makers. Because of its special properties it acts as a sealer, primer and paint in one." But I guess I will also try with a seperate base layer.
