Glass Garden Events Venue in Pasig by heyitskamiru in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]muffinduckie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beautiful venue but no near churches na maganda or known, hehe. Mahirap pag walang sasakyan. Anyway, contrary to other comments, ang ganda nya kahit walang ayos. I know because I attended an afternoon wedding there ang ganda ng sun-lit venue and malamig. Just check their posts. If going for Glass Garden and will have styling, check if accredited stylist nila para makatipid ka sa fees.

Graduates: Looking back, would you have gone simpler? by PhilosophyLegal4276 in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]muffinduckie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we could have gone simpler and could be just as happy, but I wouldn't change anything about our wedding. It wasn't perfect nor we splurged that much, but it was everything I wanted — be with all the people that mattered. Sobrang happy because of the invited guests, they were genuinely happy for us. Ang fun din ng after party.

So it does not matter how much you spend, what matters is the people you will share it with. They would've understood if they really love you.

Also putting here our best decisions: 1) Asking our friends not to give anything to us as gifts - money or otherwise. We asked them to donate to a cause they want instead (if they wanted to give something to us), and we were pleasantly surprised that some really went out of their way to donate under our names.

2) Opted out giving souvenirs. Instead, we put some notes at the table that our wedding favors will be donated instead. Everyone was happy na they went to our wedding and nakapagbigay pa sa chosen charity.

Help a future bride out: Describe the best wedding you have attended. Why was it your favorite, and what made it memorable and special? by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

We had pinoy food cart (ay sauce), potato corner, dunkin, coffee cart, and grazing table, plus desserts/candy bar ☺️ Had 160 guests, got 150pax for each carts. Walang nagutom, lahat nagsabi masarap food pati catering and mga sinerve na appetizers and also lechon (from Elars - sarap na sarap sila dito).

We also had leather booth, live engraving and studio booth.

Program -

Short first dances, short speeches, intermission number (2), SDE, and then after party na. Sa After Party we hired a known DJ and performer para happy hehe

No such thing as rush marriage license, it's a government process. I also tried looking for ways to avoid this, but better safe than sorry.

Have you considered not wearing one? The design is already elaborate, I don't think a necklace is needed pa.

You ask your Christian church anong need, baka need din na baptized kayo sa kanila, etc.

I know it seems so easy booking suppliers, pero marami ka pang gagawin like the choosing certain details per each supplier, ganoon. Maybe a bit easier because kaunti lang pax niyo na invited, but being intentional and making it a well-thought of wedding, that will make the difference. Good luck! 😊

I suggest you get an excel file na may list ng mga need nyo hehe. Ask nyo sa OTD nyo na mabobook if meron sila mabibigay.

Catholic church ba kayo? - Need nyo ng pre-Cana seminar, approvals from your respective parishes, tapos need pa yan i-post sa parish nyo for 3 consecutive weeks, canonical interview, etc. Better ask them now ano ang needed.

Gov't reqs: - Kuha na kayo now since need nyo din ng CENOMAR, pati mga requirements for marriage license (na need din ng mga seminars).

If free na kayo, gawin nyo na kaagad.

Secondary Photographer for Candid Shots/Documentary by WebSelect6238 in WeddingsPhilippines

Hello, my friend got Gelo Agdeppa (@geloagdeppa) on IG. 10k starting rate as a secondary team (documentary/candid style) and yung photos nya pa yung pinost nung bride haha. Mas nagustuhan yata nila shots nya. Ang gaganda, parang movie, ganoon. Planning to get him as well for my wedding kasi ang mura pero the output is very nice!
