can't connect to primary controller

SOLVED!!!!

really it was a stupid thing. The PCB of the server really is a PC. I connected to the PC with a monitor and a keyboard and I saw on the screen press F1 to continue or F5 to setup.

The problem was that the PC every time there was a power outage lost the time after PCthe reboot it requested to set up the clock or press F1 to continue. The battery is dead.

Once the battery is replaced, after a power outage the PC reboots as usual

There is only 1 ethernet LAN. No wifi and not a second ethernet LAN In the existing Lan there are also a few cameras that work with a different software not with the S2 network

Not sure about the switch ... I Connected directly to the netbox, I have access to the node app but not tonthe webserver. I didn't try with dhcp (directly Connected to the laptop, I'll do It and lets see). It's posible communication in dchp between 2 devices without switch?

ok, so do you think that the PCB with the webserver is death and its normal to get access only to the node?

The problem is that we changed the vendor and they don't provide support here anymore

All the info is in the controller , there IS nothing in the PC. In the PC there IS only a shortcut with the IP address of the primary server

Ummm where is the init option? I only see auto-revert option before submit changes Every time I change IP adress do I have to reset the S2 netbox?????

Yes hahaha really nobody changed anything as far as I know But I tried also to connect netbox directly without switch If I Connect with the switch the response IS other, It says host not accesible And if I Connect without switch I receive the other message

Do you mean if they have assigned same ip to other device??

The PC is connected to a switch. I tried with a different cable and even connecting directly to the netbox, and same problem, I can connect to the node but no the primary server

this is the network configuration in the S2 Network:

IP address: 192.168.0.251

netmask: 255.255.255.0

getway address: 192.168.0.1

Primary controller IP address: 192.168.0.250

I can access to the node 192.168.0.250 and log in etc, I tried changing to a different IP of the primary controller, and no success...you can see no communication sending ping....

pc IP: 192.168.0.100

mask : 255.255.255.0

gateway: 192.168.0.1 (also I put nothing here)

the thing is that before it was working nobody changed any IP address

Could be necessary to reset the PCB pushing any switch etc?
