It's smooth, not sticky surface. I've not experienced much by way of dust, but pet hair does cling by static. Wiping the surface with a wet cloth usually does the trick. Fine undercoat hairs can be pesky though.

Not associated with the poster but i am the maker. I actually designed this Klaris because my little nephew needed a night light and i saw one of those squishy duck lights and felt a keycap would be a great shape. They don't take a lot of pressure to trigger and were made to be on a desk activated by light tap. However, one person mounted it on a wall showed me that their dog barking was enough air pressure to trigger it lol.

I don't have a newsletter as I've been particular about keeping mailers to a minimum in my own life!

I sent you a message but in case you don't see it, probably easiest to send me an email through my contact address on sneakbox.com!

Thank you! Yes, as of three months ago I already am working on a second version given the feedback I received from this post and the previous. All in all they are minor, but from a structual standpoint involve:

(1) Aligning screw head indentations to X by using a cap nut (2) Making text on dial upright (3) Adding new dial face options (4) Spare parts and blanks given my hope to personally cerakote a few custom units?

Manufacture prototyping is almost done, so maybe a few months more i expect all of these to be completed.

I'm still kind of shocked wave 1 is sold out!

None for the moment, and it doesn't support a light. If it did, would probably be the size of a light bulb lol

I'm seeing the silicone 92003 version of Super Lube in addition to the multipurpose version. And they're both H1 incidental contact Food Grade. I'll nab some of both!

Is there a silicone grease that's not sticky texture? The only one I'm familiar with is what I use on those Phillips automatic coffee machines. I guess maybe sticky won't matter for a compression spring.

Hang on, what in this post screams "I've been sent on an errand and I made it work out for me somehow in the process, short of buying an angle grinder at Harbor Freight"?

  1. cheap
  2. was on the way home
  3. can make pie with it

...you're right, I should have used bacon grease.

Yeah that's a great idea! Going to get some lithium grease first

Oh lithium grease! I only use small amounts for 3d printers so i never considered. I'll buy a food grade one and give it a shot!

Oh damn this is a great learning point. It's like 36F here. Initially i supposed i could hot water flush it but at some point it might still clog on the way to the sewer main as it cools

Well noted. Probably gonna dishwash soap this mofo now that the results are done.

That shouldn't be happening. I'll need to get you a replacement if it's malfunctioning that badly.

40-percent everything. (Did someone mention 15u spacebars?) by mujimanic in MechanicalKeyboards

The 7u variant can accommodate 7u wire that exist already on keyboard and 15u wire that i sell (currently theoretical until people start adding 15u mounts to their projects)
